Vauxhall CLP leadership election meeting

Vauxhall Constituency Labour Party will be holding an all members meeting on 31 May to give the CLP the opportunity to make a supporting nomination for the Labour leader and deputy leader.

I think this is a great opportunity to debate the future of both the Labour Party and the country.

This meeting will replace our usual General Committee. Members will receive a letter about the meeting in a mailing out soon. Only Vauxhall CLP members will be allowed to attend the meeting and will need a membership card or form of identification.

If you are a Vauxhall CLP member and would like more details, please look out for the letter or drop me an email.

I look forward to receiving it - I always feel that the ward structure of the labour party prevents effective party gatherings - if we had a clp all members meeting every month we would have more members present and there would be less cost to the clp overall. And we all live within two or three miles of each other so it would not be too far for anyone to travel
